Migrate legacy ETL
Measured. Converted. Proven.

Move off Informatica, Control-M and legacy SQL with AI agents — to an open data platform you own. Lower cost, less risk, sooner.

During the migration — DATAP.AI's AI agents run as containers inside your VPC and move your estate, once. We never access your network or store your data.
After go-live — the same deployment stays in your VPC, owned and operated by you. Your data never flows through it.

Lower cost

Retire legacy licences and pay only for the compute you use.

Lower risk

Know the scope first. Prove the numbers match before you switch.

Faster

AI agents do the heavy lifting, so you go live sooner.

You stay in control

Open storage in your own cloud — no new lock-in.

Your control, from day one

Even during the migration, nothing leaves your cloud and we never take control.

In your VPC from day one

DATAP.AI is deployed as containers in your own cloud before any work starts.

No access to your network

We never connect into your network, and nothing calls home.

We never store your data

Your data and code stay in your VPC — during and after the migration.

You hold the keys

Your team controls access and approves every change.

Cut timeline, risk and cost with AI-driven migration

Legacy ETL estates grew over many years. The logic is undocumented, licence costs keep rising, the people who built it have moved on — and a manual rewrite takes years.

Our AI agents read your whole estate, convert it automatically and prove the result. Your team reviews and approves instead of rewriting — and lands on an open platform that no vendor can lock.

Why it pays

Save while you run, save while you move, and never pay to move again.

Every year

Lower running costs

  • No ETL licence fees — open-source dbt Core and Airflow by default
  • Pay only for the compute you actually use
  • All your data on low-cost cloud object storage
  • Fewer tools to run, patch and support
Once

A cheaper migration

  • AI agents do the conversion work, not billable hours
  • Scope and cost known before you commit
  • Automated side-by-side checks replace manual testing
  • Live sooner, so the old licences stop sooner
For the future

Future savings and data sovereignty

  • Switch engines when prices change — no second migration
  • Open Iceberg format that any engine and any vendor can read
  • Your data in your own cloud account, under your own keys
  • Lineage and governance stay with your data, whatever runs on it

How it works

1

Assess

Every job gets a verdict and a reason — before you commit.

2

Convert

Transformations to dbt Core, schedules to Airflow, automatically.

3

Resolve

AI agents fix the unusual cases; your experts approve.

4

Prove & switch

Old and new run side by side until the numbers match.

How we engage

Week 1

Free assessment

DATAP.AI is deployed in your VPC and assesses one export there. You get every job's verdict and a plan.

Weeks 2–3

Pilot

One folder moved and running on your platform, with the numbers compared.

Waves

Full migration

The rest of the estate, wave by wave, approved by your team.

Ongoing

Governed platform

Lineage, quality and AI governance on the new platform from day one.

What teams ask first

Q. Do you need access to our systems?

No. DATAP.AI is deployed as containers inside your VPC from day one. We never access your network and never store your data.

Q. Do you keep access to our environment?

No. Once the migration is done we have no connection to your deployment and no control over it — your deployment, the generated code and the data are 100% yours.

Q. What if something can't be converted automatically?

It is flagged with the reason. Our AI agents propose a fix and your team approves it.

Q. Do we need to pay for dbt Cloud?

No. dbt Labs is the company behind dbt. By default we use dbt Core, its free open-source tool, with Apache Airflow — both running in your own cloud. If you prefer dbt Cloud, its paid hosted service, the same project moves there as-is.

Q. Who does the work?

Our AI agents do the conversion inside your VPC, with our engineers advising — or your preferred partner. Your team runs it and signs off each wave.
